Plant Directory

This is a compendium of plants for exotic gardens.  I don't suppose it will ever be completely finished, as there are always new plants to try; in the shorter term I will be chipping away at the text over the coming months so do bear with me and keep checking.

To facilitate the loading speed, I have split the list into separate groups - some of my favourite genera such as agaves have separate pages devoted to them.  Many of these plants I have grown for  years, some I've never seen before only heard about - the text will say which applies, but as my research continues I will keep this directory updated.  If there is one of your favourites I have missed out or got wrong please Email me to let me know !

If you are looking for a particular plant, there is every chance that at some point in this website I have waffled on about it.  Type the latin name, just the species name will do to limit the reply, in the box and send it off.  Isn't technology amazing.
